Hypochlorous Acid is the active ingredient in Cleaner Than Clean. It's a nature-made ingredient that can be found in our own bodies. Our white blood cells use it as an immune response to defend against invading pathogens.

How Is Hypochlorous Acid Made?

Hypochlorous acid is made by electrolyzing a solution consisting of two simple and safe ingredients: salt and water. When this solution is electrolyzed, it separates the atoms in the salt and water molecules and then rebonds them to create a powerful new compound, HOCl.

Where Is Hypochlorous Acid Used?

Hypochlorous acid is already used commercially to naturally clean food manufacturing equipment, surgical equipment at hospitals, and food preparation surfaces in restaurants. It’s even used clinically by estheticians to heal skin issues, optometrists for eye care and veterinarians for wound care. 

We knew the importance of getting this into your hands, so we invested in our own commercial grade manufacturing facility to produce a ready-to-use solution for home use.

Is Hypochlorous Acid Safe?

Yes, it's safe for the whole family! Hypochlorous acid is actually made within our bodies by our immune systems to fight invading pathogens. Since our bodies already contain it, they recognize it as harmless and even beneficial to our systems.

Cleaner Than Clean is nontoxic, fragrance free, baby and pet-safe, food-safe, non-irritating, and hypo-allergenic.

OUR VERIFIED CLEAN STANDARD

  • Use CTC in place of conventional cleaners like bleach, Clorox, Lysol, Formula 409, Resolve, Simple Green, and Nature's Miracle as well as conventional deodorizers like Febreze, Glade, Lysol, and Arm & Hammer.

    Spray it on hard or porous surfaces and in the air to clean and deodorize.
